By using Video Transcription Service ("the service") you agree to these terms. They are intentionally concise and written in plain language. If you require additional assurances for your use case, please contact us.

What you can use it for

• Transcribing videos you own or have the right to transcribe.
• Personal use, content creation, research, accessibility work.

What you can't use it for

• Transcribing videos in violation of the original creator's terms or copyright.
• Bypassing platform paywalls or scraping content at scale.
• Anything illegal in your jurisdiction.

Free tier

The free tier is intended for casual, evaluation, and one-off use. It is limited per device and network per month. Abuse (automated traffic, multiple accounts, etc.) may result in being blocked.

Paid jobs

Paid transcriptions are billed through Stripe Checkout. Unused wallet balance stays on your account and does not expire. Refunds are handled case-by-case via support@askgiya.com.

No warranty

Transcripts are generated by machine speech recognition. Accuracy varies with audio quality and language. The service is provided as-is, without any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.

Changes

We may update these terms. Significant changes will be reflected at the top of this page.
